How to Write Articles

Article marketing is one of the fastest ways of marketing your product or service today. You simply would write a thought provoking article and have your articles published on various article directories on the internet. When writing your article, make sure it relates to your industry or business. For example, if you sell travel products, you might write about the Top 5 things to look for when planning a cruise.

When composing your article, remember that you want to provide useful information to your readers. How-to articles and articles providing tips and techniques will have the highest success rate. The key is to write about a topic in which you are passionate. Your passion and enthusiasm will be conveyed in your words and will stir up a high level of excitement and interest in your reader.

Another example is if you offer internet marketing education, your article could provide the reader with tips on selecting a home business or a list of must have tools for success in the internet marketing field. Make sure you provide things that work or have worked for you. Proven techniques and tips are better than guesses. If you guess, you could suffer from no referrals from other readers. Also, make sure you write as many articles as you can. This will really help to publicize yourself and you will not only look like but be viewed as an expert.

The Importance of Investing in Education

There are few things in this world that may be more important to a society than the importance of investing in education. It is unlikely that there is ever a point in anyone's life where learning and furthering yourself becomes unimportant or unnecessary. There are many advantages for a society, culture or country to encourage a person to keep learning and to invest their resources into making education available to anyone who desires it.

On a national level, it is important that a country puts as much as they can towards encouraging people to learn more. It is only through education that people are able to improve themselves. As a person begins to learn more and more, it can help them move ahead in the world.

One of the most important factors for helping to escape from poverty is education. When a person is willing to learn, it not only gives them more knowledge of the world around them, it also equips them with the tools necessary to get ahead. With the proper education, they will be able to secure a better job, thus putting them on the path to future success.

Nationally, it is important for a country to be willing to put in the necessary funds to provide for quality learning not only for its adults, but especially for the children. The children need to be encouraged to learn as much as possible if a country or society wants to keep growing. It is the children who are the future of the society, and the more they know and can assist in the growth of the civilization, the better off the culture will be as a whole.

Sufficient Impacts on the History of Special Education

Special Education, over the years, has grown and improved substantially. The history of it contains many admirable historical figures and events that have defined and impacted Special Education. I, however, picked 4 people and one event that I thought had a great impact on Special education. Without these people, special education would not be where it is today. I believe Jean Itard, Edouard Seguin, Helen Keller, Samuel Howe and the Brown Vs. Board of Education, were all important highlights in the history of Special Ed. Although they are not the only ones that should be commended for doing an outstanding job in improving the status of Special Ed, education would not progress as much without them.

Jean Itard is perhaps best defined as "the Father of Special Education" Although he was not aware that his work would have been defined as Special education, his work had a profound effect on future generations. Itard was educated to be a tradesman. However, during the French Revolution, he joined the army to become an assistant surgeon. After the war, he took upon a new and challenging project called Victor. Victor was a wild, animal- like boy that was found running around in the forest. In 1800 he was bought to Paris for observation. When Itard saw the wild, uncivilized boy, he assumed that he had been recently abandoned by his parents. Like a wild animal that does not like to be caged, Victor escaped a couple of times from a widow's bedroom window. He was normally deficient, but Itard believed he could educate the boy through experience. During Itard's time, it was a common belief that mentally disabled people were uneducable. The remarkable guru spent five years trying to "cure" him. After 5 years, Victor could read and speak a few words, and could also show affection towards his caretakers. Unfortunately, he never reached normality. Itard thought he had failed as a teacher, but his experience with Victor taught others that in order to achieve the smallest success, he had to accept Victor as a person. His work implemented the most important truth of all, and that was that education had to be in harmony with the dynamic nature of life.

The next important historical figure was not a teacher, but a remarkable student. Helen Keller had an illness which left her blind and deaf. As a young child, she suffered through severe retardation. She made animal like sounds, ripped her clothes off, and was not toilet trained. It was apparent that she lacked civilized traits. Many years later, even she said "I was an animal." Poor Helen had become a very difficult child. She terrorized the house hold, and often endangered the people in it. The Kellers were advised to visit an expert on deaf children. This was the well known Alexander Graham Bell. Bell suggested that the family seek an instructor from Perkins University.

Online Stats Affect Higher Education Marketing

Almost everyone involved in promoting higher education is aware that the Internet has drastically changed marketing, advertising, and recruiting. Admissions offices are aware that they need to be more actively using social media, financial aid offices offer online applications, and many recruiters utilize online blogs to communicate useful information to prospective students. However, though education administrators have a general awareness of the pervasiveness of the Internet and social media, they are often surprised to hear the actual statistics.

Online statistics provide useful information when it comes to the marketing of higher education. It is one thing to say that you know that the college-age demographic is online a lot and another to know that 91% of all mobile Internet access is to social networking sites. If an administrator thinks of YouTube as a site where teens go to watch music videos, it will never be used as a marketing strategy. However, that same administrator might be compelled to finance a video about the school's acceptance rate into post-graduate programs upon learning that 200 million YouTube views occur on mobile devices every day. A director of an admissions office at a higher education institution may not know the difference between a tweet and a status update, but may still be willing to approve Twitter accounts for all admission counselors because there are more than 30 million tweets on Twitter per day.

Obviously, the statistics regarding online usage make a compelling argument for online marketing for education. However, even when an institution of higher education knows the statistics and has the desire to go online in a marketing effort, most lack the technological and marketing expertise to do so. Fortunately, there are companies that specialize in online marketing for higher education. These companies keep up with technology in higher education so that they can offer colleges and universities innovative online marketing campaigns. Such online marketing utilizes all aspects of the Internet to target marketing efforts to the precise demographic a college or university is trying to reach. Whether it is incorporating a Facebook page or utilizing SEO techniques, marketing campaigns can be specifically designed to increase a school's presence online and to attract students interested in pursuing higher education.

Learning the Basics

Trading currencies can be a great way to make money, unfortunately a lot of people are afraid to try it. The biggest reason that people are afraid of trading forex is that they are confused by how the process works. There is no doubting that if all of your trading experience is in stocks you will find things to be very different. However once you pick up the basics the rest will fall into place pretty quickly.

The area that gives a lot of people the most trouble when they start learning how to trade forex is the terminology that is used. If you come from a background of trading stocks you will notice that it is quite a bit different. Before you even start trading forex the first thing that you are going to have to learn is the terminology. It will take you a little bit of time but once you start working with forex and making some practice trades you will pick it up pretty quickly.

The next thing that you have to make sure that you understand before you can start trading forex is the way that prices are determined. Again this is very different than the way it occurs on the stock market. The big thing here is to realize that the value of one currency is measured against another. That means that when you are trading currencies you are actually trading them in pairs. You really only care about how the currencies move against each other. They may both decline relative to a third currency and it will have no impact on your trade.

Formal Versus Informal Education

There is a long-lasting debate in some circles about the relative intrinsic worth of formal and informal education. This debate may impact our work in a literacy program. We have to differentiate between formal and informal-education and why it is necessary in this rapid world and especially countries like Pakistan.

Formal Education

The term formal education refers to the structured and prearranged educational system provided by the state for children of that country. In most countries, the formal education system is state-supported and state-operated. In some countries like Pakistan, the state allows and certifies private systems which provide a comparable even some time much better education.

Informal education

It is very simple to understand Informal Education as informal means unofficial and it is called informal education because;

    No regular curriculum
    Not obligatory
    No formal certification

The Government can or can not support the whole program as it is mostly refer to the social base programs. Mostly education/training or awareness for this purpose is organized outside of the formally school. Most typically, the term or phrase in-formal education is used to refer to adult literacy and continuing education for adults.

Its Importance and Need in the Society

Sex Education, as the term clearly indicates, refers to education which is based on human sexual behavior. Parents, schools or caretakers offer it in some parts of the world to educate the children, who are stepping into their adolescence. If formally received, sex education is either taught as a full course at high school or junior high school level or in biology, health, home economics classes. Teaching sex education is rather a controversial issue; debates have been going on for several decades discussing if it should be taught formally in schools or not. Sex education in schools should exist without any doubts and apprehensions as it offers many benefits.

Adolescence is called the "age of storm and stress". The young teenagers, during this phase of life are under deep psychological pressure. Mainly, this psychological pressure is the result of one's growing sexual needs and the biological changes and hormonal effects on the individuals. During this time, most of the children are observed to become easily irritable. They find it difficult in most situations to deal with the family members. They might not want to talk to them about the natural changes taking place in their body and mind. In such circumstances, one highly suitable option is that of the teachers who are able to teach them to control their urges until a proper age. In schools, trained teachers would help the students to know how to deal with their sexual impulses. This role can not be replaced by parents or other entities. A classroom discussion and lesson would make them feel it is natural, and they would also feel that they are being understood by someone. However, taking them individually to psychologists or other trained educators would not help. In such a situation they might consider themselves to be different and misunderstood by family and people around them. Therefore, it becomes crystal clear that the best way to offer sex education is always in school.

It is a psychological phenomenon that children at young age are under an immense peer pressure. Something that they learn in the class with their peer group is what makes a better impression on their minds than otherwise. They are more focused in the lessons that teachers offer and are more eager asking question to clear their ambiguities. They might feel embarrassed and uneasy questioning their parents about it, but it always differs in case of the teacher in the class. This is because everyone in the class is going through the same stage. A class discussion becomes healthy source of learning as it helps in enhancing the knowledge on the subject.

The Benefits of Preschool Education

Preschool education can be very beneficial for children, both academically and socially. Preschool prepares children academically, socially and emotionally for kindergarten.

Attending preschool can have long-term academic benefits for your child, by ensuring that they arrive in kindergarten ready to learn. Many preschools offer academic programs as part of their curriculum. They help children to develop the skills that they will need to learn well in a classroom environment, and they begin to teach the basic lessons that will give your child a head start when they arrive in kindergarten. The academic benefits of attending preschool will be particularly important during kindergarten, but the effects will continue throughout their educational experience. Ensuring that your child has the best introduction to learning will give them the best chance of doing well throughout their school career.

Preschool can also help your child to develop their social skills and to become more emotionally mature. Spending time with other children of a similar age will help children to learn about communication, sharing and interacting with others. They will learn how to work and play on their own or in groups, to follow rules and instructions and to cope with being away from you. Preschool can help your child to become more confident and independent. Adjusting to a classroom environment at an early age, and without the additional academic pressures of kindergarten, makes the change much easier for your child.

Landmark Education Forum Review

A close friend of mine has recently attended the landmark forum in Sydney, Australia. The most obvious outcome I saw was a transformation in her immediate emotional and mental state. After talking to her I was able to feel the progress it has helped her achieve in her immediate personal and professional life.

However this is not about my friend because I'm sure you are here to find out how educational courses such as landmark can benefit you.

So what can educational courses such as the landmark education offer you? The best advice to pass on is that you test everything out for yourself. Life is a game. Although that phrase may sound quite cliché when being overly used at times, the most successful people know that to succeed in any game you have to test things out for yourself.

The best due diligence for anyone in regards to whether landmark education courses are suitable to their needs is to seek advice from someone who has successfully completed the courses. While in conversation have a look at how they speak, present themselves and ask them how landmark education has been able to positively transform their personal and professional life. Look around you and start to feel what it's like in their immediate surroundings.

Special Education For Disabled Children

During the first years of a child's life, the brain is still malleable and able to form important connections so that the child can learn a wide variety of information and abilities. However, if the child suffers from an illness, injury, or condition that causes a disability, it can interfere with his or her ability absorb information in the same way as non-disabled children. Special education classes can help children with disabilities learn in a way tailored to their needs.

In 1975, the U.S. government first legally addressed special education in public schools with the Education for All Handicapped Children Act, or EHA. This included both physically and mentally handicapped children. The act stated that all schools receiving public funding must have programs specifically created for special needs children. These lesson plans were developed with the help of parents so that disabled children had as much of a normal education as possible. The EHA was renamed the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1990.

Later, in 2004, the government recognized the need to amend IDEA so that it better met the needs of disabled children and their education. This was called the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act, or IDEIA. IDEIA was signed into being in late 2004, and it was adopted in all states by 2006.

Instructional Strategies For Multicultural Education

In today's education system, teachers are constantly being faced with new challenges. In an ever-changing diverse world, teachers must adapt their curriculums and teaching strategies to work in a number of environments. One major challenge that educators face is effectively teaching in a multicultural environment. Teachers must be able to deliver lessons to ESL students while concurrently reaching and benefiting all students. What exactly is multicultural education? It's a field that aims to level the playing field for students from a variety of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. ESL students (English as a Second Language) are in a unique situation when they arrive at a new school, and an encouraging and knowledgeable teacher can make all the difference in how their experience pans out. All students should be able to achieve the highest education possible. An educated and knowledgeable community can work together and make goals to improve our world. The first step towards attaining these goals is find effective ways to teach and educate the young people of our society.

There are a variety of strategies that teachers can employ to better understand the best way to approach multicultural education. There are laws at the federal and state levels that may apply to English Language Learners in certain school districts. There are many good classes that teachers can take to help understand multicultural in education. In addition to the specific rules and regulations pertaining to multicultural in education, teachers should be well versed in the struggles that multicultural students face. Teachers should also learn about the different cultures that ESL students represent. The success of ESL students depends on many things, but there are a few main things to consider. First is their past language learning and development. How well they know their first (or second, third, etc...) language will affect how well they can learn English. Second, their personality plays a part in language learning. Those that are social by nature will have more incentive to learn English to communicate with others, which is a necessary part of their happiness. Third, the unique situation of the student always has a role in the success of learning English. In terms of teaching methods, multicultural education courses should review different methods of teaching when it comes to English classes, especially pronunciation, writing, reading, and speaking. Maybe the structure of the English language can be compared to a student's native language to give them a better understanding of how the two relate. Sometimes taking just a few extra minutes with a student to understand their needs can make a meaningful difference.
